Minimal Winter Prep: Unlike some pond and lake fountains, this system doesn't require complicated winterizing. If your pond or lake doesn’t freeze, leave the fountain in place. In colder areas, simply remove and store it indoors. Some users even run the fountain in ponds where only the top layer ices over to keep a surface opening for fish and improve aeration.
