You're looking at a pump kit that's keeping water flowing across thousands of American farms, ranches, and homesteads.

The RPS Core Series 07RPS05 is a 7 GPM submersible water pump end built for everyday reliability in household wells, agricultural operations, irrigation systems, and even industrial use. Rated up to 200 feet of total head and built for continuous duty, it easily handles the demands that rural water systems require, day in and day out. Pair with a pressure tank - but make sure to size with an RPS Pump Specialist first (855) 560-5670.

Constructed with a 304 stainless steel outer body and engineered composite impellers, the Core Series gives you serious durability at a price point that makes sense.

NSF Drinking Water Certified and UL Listed — built to the highest standards so the water reaching your family, your livestock, and your crops is clean and safe. No cutting corners where it counts.

Works great pumping from wells, tanks, or ponds. This RPS pump uses a hearty 2 Wire Single Phase 1/2 HP 110V Motor and 4" diameter pump end. This Core Series kit does not include an external starter box, the starting capacitor is built directly into the motor housing. You'll wire directly from the pump to your breaker or switch.

If you're setting up a new well system, replacing a worn-out pump, or just want something that'll run for years without giving you trouble, the Core Series is where most folks start — and where a lot of them stay.

Total Head Gallons Per Minute (GPM)
No head 13.2
50 feet 13.2
100 feet 12
150 feet 10.5
200 feet 8
Above 200 feet Size Up for Optimal Performance

Using a pressure tank or pressure system? You'll need to add the depth of your well with the PSI in feet of head to get your "Total Head" number for sizing.

10 PSI = 23 feet of head

20 PSI = 46 feet of head

30 PSI = 70 feet of head

40 PSI = 90 feet of head

50 PSI = 115 feet of head

60 PSI = 140 feet of head

Example: 50 foot (well depth) + 90 feet of head (from a 40 PSI pressure tank) = 140 feet of total head. If your total head number exceeds this pumps ability range, size up to get a similar flow with higher head ability!

RPS Laser Welded Construction

  • No Cheap Plastic Parts

Other pump companies use a mix of plastic and sub-par metal parts to construct their pumps, often those parts crack or break within a few months. RPS only uses anti-rust stainless steel.

  • Submersible well pump from RPS Water Pumps with sparks and glowing effect in a dark setting.

    Water Tight Motor Housing

Laser welding the top and bottom of the motor housing results in a superior watertight seal that protects your pump. No leaks!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can I install myself?

Yup! Over 90% of our customers install their pumps themselves without a hitch. The other 10% use a well installer, mostly because their well is too deep to do the job by hand (over 400 feet). This is a testament to the rural do-it-yourself attitude, but also our company’s commitment to making our systems easier and easier to install year after year. With a detailed all-color User Manual walking you through planning and installation step-by-step and dedicated engineers by the phones to answer questions as they come. BONUS installing yourself will never void your warranty with RPS

  • What type of motor does RPS pumps use?

RPS motors use 100% Stainless Steel laser welded housing. All of our 220V motors are 3 wire Capacitor Start Capacitor Run, which is the best investment on the pump market for longevity.

  • How reliable are your pumps? How long have you been in business?

We started development of our first pumps in 2012 with our sister company RPS Solar Pumps, and after much testing and refinement, we launched our first pump for purchase in 2014. With all our pumps still in the field, and eight major winter upgrades from our engineering team, we are confident we have the highest quality pump that you can install yourself on the market, and the only comprehensive kit designed to make it easy. We believe our customers’s actions speak more loudly, with the majority of sales this past year coming from happy returning customers and their referrals.

  • Can I use my existing pipe, wire and plumbing with the pump?

Yes. As long as everything is in good condition. The most common replacement item is worn out pump wire that's been nicked or damaged from the previous decades in the well. Check the outlet size of the RPS pump you plan on using (most are 1.25"), all of use female NPT pipe threads, so you just need the correct fittings to adjust to your existing pipe size.

  • Can I add an external switch to turn on and off the pump depending on when it fills up a storage tank?

Yup, you'll need a float switch, which will be placed inside the storage tank and float up and down with the water level.

Our Pledges to You

  1. Be a company our Grandfathers would have trusted. The trend of ‘outsourcing’ customer support after the sale is a trend we wholeheartedly oppose. We are an American, family run company and our USA engineers support you before and after the sale.
  2. No sales pressure. Ever. Nobody in the company is paid on commission. We think this is important. Their role is to make sure they find the right pump for you and your well. If we don’t have a livestock solar pump that will suit your needs, we will help you find a solution elsewhere. Our job is to help get you water.
  3. Reliable Water. All manufactured products have occasional issues and we can’t claim to be perfect. However, we are proud of a near perfect track record in getting our customers water. This starts with selling a pump sized for your usage with our Water Assurance Plan and promptly addressing warranty issues to get you up and pumping again quickly.
  4. Give you the power! When you control your ability to pump water out of the ground, whether that is in the field or at home, it makes you more resilient and independent. We are here to help educate you about solar water pumping for livestock and our systems over the phone, with our manual - so you can install yourself. Take control of your water supply today.
  5. Fight for the American rancher. RPS is a David & Goliath story of a small American company fighting against a big European pump corporation that cares more about profits then the longevity of their pumps and the sky-high price for ranchers. Thanks to all our customers for the support of small business vs. foreign corporations trying to profit off some of the hardest working people in our great nation.

You'll wire directly from the pump to your breaker or switch.

If you're setting up a new well system, replacing a worn-out pump, or just want something that'll run for years without giving you trouble, the Core Series is where most folks start — and where a lot of them stay.

Total Head

Gallons Per Minute (GPM)

No head

13.2

50 feet

13.2

100 feet

12

150 feet

10.5

200 feet

8

Above 200 feet

Size Up for Optimal Performance

Using a pressure tank or pressure system?
