(RPS Water Pumps) warrants to the owner for a period of twenty-four (24) months from the date of purchase ("Warranty Period") such RPS Products will be free from material defects in material and workmanship. What does our Water Assurance Guarantee mean?

We offer a money back guarantee that our pump systems will provide you water when sized by one of our engineers to your well, desired setup and final total dynamic pumping head. We do require static water levels, drawdown and pressure requirements are accurately estimated during the sizing process, that installation follows the instructions of RPS User Manual, and that you give RPS engineers a chance to troubleshoot any issues.

Returns

Customer shall inspect the RPS Product within 30 days of receipt and will be deemed to have accepted the RPS Product unless you notify RPS Water Pumps of your intent to return the product. You may return the RPS Products purchased, for any reason, for a full refund up to thirty (30) days after the date of purchase. The RPS Products must be unused, in new condition, and you must pay the return shipping or return to product to RPS Water Pumps in person. For your convenience, we are happy to email printable shipping labels and deduct the cost (often a discounted rate vs. retail store rate) from your refund amount.

After 30 days and up to sixty (60) days after purchase, a full refund is not available, but transferrable store credit is available for returned products. Unfortunately, we do not accept returns past 60 days and are unable to offer refunds, however, your product warranty is transferable in event the system is sold during the Warranty Period.

As a condition of this return policy, you agree to give us the opportunity to troubleshoot the issue(s) with the RPS Product to work out any issues prior to return

Note on Varying Well Casing Sizes

Depending on the material of lining used, varying pipe sizes and the age of the well our engineers have observed that all 6" wells sometimes do not all have the exact same measurements. This holds true for 4", 5" and 8" wells too. A 2-year-old 6" well in Indiana may not have the exact same measurements as a 6" 65-year-old well in Texas. Not to worry! The black gasket around the bottom of RPS stainless steel well seals will swell with exposure to water to help seal off slight inconsistencies in measurements. In rare cases, you can also add some foam tape around the gasket for a more exact fit on wells with "unique" measurements. And as long as the lip of the well seal is sitting over the well casing, you well pump will be safely supported.

Not Ideal For Artesian WellsStandard well seals aren’t fully watertight under artesian pressure — choose a pressure-rated cap and proper grouting to protect your well.

Stainless Steel Well Seal

The Quality of the Materials is Excellent & machining & finish quality is also very high quality. Luckily, I am familiar with how to drill a hole in Stainless, because if you do not know the secrets about how to drill a hole Successfully in S.S. you will wind up with a partially drilled hole that can never be finished because S.S. Work hardens & if you use a dull drill bit or try to drill the hole without using oil, you will work harden the metal where the bit is cutting & once it is work hardened, That's it, you cannot cut any more metal from that hole!

Just what I needed!!

Our well driller turned up with any kind of casing we wanted as long as it was 5" PVC.

I'm old enough to have minimal faith in plastic anything, but something that is as likely to take a beating as a well casing from my perspective should be steel.

Since we are going to be pumping with a windmill, our 100' of steel "Drop Pipe" will be coming up through the Well Cap and resting on it. Not a submersible pump mounted to a Pitless bored into the wall of the casing underground.

I had searched for a while and kept finding only PVC Caps to fit the 5" PVC Casing. Not only is this cap going to bear the load of the steel Drop Pipe, it is going to be directly beneath 1600# of steel tower and Mill. Any number of components or tools dropped from 33' up would likely shatter a PVC Cap potentially wreaking havoc with the well.

Finding this Stainless Steel 5" Cap was my lucky day! It will bear the load of the drop pipe and withstand any dropped parts handily.

After reading reviews of poor quality PVC caps this one stands out as a Space Age wonder. It is well made and excellent quality - glad I found it at RPS.
